Chef Francesco Showcased the Making of Classic Pasta Menu
‘Fettucine all’Alfredo’ from Italy
Sharing an impressive moment during the event of ‘#FunFilmAndFoodเวิร์ก with Film Nua’ in collaboration with Salmon Podcast & Chef Francesco De Rosa, the Chef Instructor of Italian Cuisine programmes from #Almaschool at The Food School Bangkok.
During the workshop, all participants learned to create a menu highly inspired from the Korean series ‘Mr. Queen’, while discovering the fascinating history of pasta. Chef Francesco also demonstrated the making of a classic Italian dish, ‘Fettucine all’Alfredo’, or fresh egg-pasta utilising the traditional ‘#mantecatura’ technique with only butter and Parmigiano cheese, resulting in a heavenly delicious taste.
The origins of Fettucine all’Alfredo date back over 100 years in Rome, Italy, when Mr. Alfredo created this dish for his wife during her pregnancy. It later became a signature dish at their restaurant and gained worldwide fame as a beloved classic pasta dish.
Stay tuned for the upcoming episode of Film Nua from Salmon Podcast, hosted by Pear Pimlada and Chef Francesco, where they will delve into the exclusive story behind Italian food heritage!
